On 21 August 2025, #TeamBGC came together to reinforce one powerful message: “How You Respond Matters.”
Safety Day is more than just an event — it’s a reflection of our ongoing commitment to protecting lives, our workplace, and the environment. Through interactive booths, engaging activities, and open conversations, we challenged ourselves to think about how we respond to risks, both big and small.
Do we speak up when we see a hazard? Do we intervene when something feels unsafe? Do we take action, or stay silent?
BGC Managing Director, Captain Abdul Mateen, reminded everyone that: Safety is not just about procedures — it’s about the everyday choices we make. A small action today could prevent an incident tomorrow. Everyone needs to carry this momentum forward — not just for today, but every day. Safety is not the responsibility of a few; it is a shared commitment we all uphold.
