On 18th June 2024, BGC collaborated with Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque’s Takmir Committee Members; Jerudong A & B Village Consultative Council; and the Jerudong Kedayan Heritage Association for a Korban Ceremony at Masjid Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque to mark Hari Raya Aidiladha 1445H/2024.
In attendance were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Jaafar Abdul Aziz DPKT DSLJ SMB as the Guest of Honour, BGC’s Managing Director – Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew, and Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Razak bin Haji Muhammad to distribute the korban meat to the individuals and families in need and other relevant recipients.
On the same day, #TeamBGC also handed over portions of korban meat contributed by BGC employees, to underprivileged families in Kg Jerudong and Perpindahan Mata-Mata Gadong.
BGC would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for the collaboration with the Jerudong community, and to all BGC employees who participated in this year’s korban.
