The Marine Cadets undergo a three-year sandwich course which involves them in academic studies at the allocated colleges with intervals of approximately 4 months practical training onboard the allocated vessel.

The Training Program trains the Cadets in aspects involved in the secure transportation of LNG; i.e. safety procedures, operational duties in the chosen discipline of either Deck or Engineering. The Deck Cadets shall be involved in the navigational, safe passage planning and cargo operations whereas; the Engineering Cadets shall be trained in the technical maintenance and operations of the vessels.
