On Wednesday, 1 April 2026, BGC held its People Recognition and Achievement Event, a meaningful occasion to celebrate professional milestones and the people behind them.
A heartfelt congratulations to one of our Ship Officers on his promotion to the rank of Master. This achievement reflects not only his professional capability, but also his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence at sea.
The occasion was attended by BGC Managing Director, Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew, who extended his personal congratulations. The rank epaulette was presented by Captain Zuraime Waqiyuddin Hj Suhaimi, Acting Fleet Manager, in recognition of the officer’s readiness to take on this important leadership role.
The event also marked another significant milestone for BGC with the signing of Cadetship Contract Agreements, as we proudly welcomed two new cadets into the BGC family. Their journey with us begins here, and we look forward to supporting their growth in the maritime industry.
