Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC) marked its 28th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Ceremony and Iftar gathering at the Masjid Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Jerudong. Led by BGC Managing Director, Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew, the gathering brought together employees, invited guests, and members of the community for an evening of reflection and gratitude.
In conjunction with the celebration, BGC employees came together to organise a donation drive in support of 51 orphans, comprising children of BGC employees as well as orphans from Kampung Jerudong A and B. The initiative reflects the collective generosity and compassion of BGC staff, especially during the blessed month of Ramadhan.
As Brunei Darussalam’s first deepwater shipping company, BGC commemorates this milestone with humility, reaffirming its commitment to serve the nation while supporting the well-being of its people and wider community.
