Project Amali 2026

Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC) continued its long-standing commitment to community support through the 12th installment of Project Amali, returning to the Labi community as part of its ongoing outreach efforts within the Belait District.

The initiative which was led by Managing Director, Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew, and our team of volunteers, in collaboration with the village heads of Kampong Labi 1 and Kampong Labi 2, extended essential support to six (6) socioeconomically disadvantaged families in the community.

As we welcome the holy month of Ramadhan, we hope our small act of giving brings comfort and ease to the families. This initiative reflects not only the spirit of compassion and gratitude that Ramadan teaches us, but also the caring culture we continue to foster as #TeamBGC. May our collective kindness be a source of barakah, bringing ease to their hearts and allowing them to enter this blessed month of Ramadan with renewed hope, dignity, and peace.

AMADI Ship-to-Ship (STS) at Philippines LNG Terminal

On 9 February 2026, BGC’s vessel AMADI successfully completed a Ship‑to‑Ship (STS) LNG transfer at the LNGPH Terminal, Ilijan, Batangas City, Philippines, marking another step forward in our operational journey. This operation represents vessel AMADI’s fourth successful STS LNG transfer, following three earlier transfers conducted across Pakistan and Bangladesh in 2021.

This milestone reflects the expertise, coordination, and unwavering commitment of our teams in consistently delivering safe and efficient outcomes.

STS LNG transfers are high‑risk, highly specialised operations. Building on BGC’s proven experience, success depends on the right conditions, robust safety systems, and seamless coordination—driven by precision, discipline, and strong collaboration across teams.
