On 16 July 2026, Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC) and Brunei LNG marked a significant milestone with the signing of the extension of the Amadi Time Charter Agreement (TCA) at Brunei LNG’s Office in Lumut.

The agreement was signed by Acting Managing Director of BGC, Ms. Koh Hui Ling, and Managing Director & CEO of Brunei LNG, Mr. Niels Dijksman, reaffirming the long-standing partnership of over 25 years between two Bruneian companies at the heart of the nation’s LNG value chain.

More than an extension of vessel services, the agreement reflects a shared commitment to the safe and reliable delivery of LNG to international markets, strengthening Brunei’s economic resilience and the competitiveness of its energy industry.

For the second consecutive year, Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC) was proud to collaborate with Poni Group as one of the key Site Visit Partner for the Future Ocean Changemakers Youth Forum, held in conjunction with Ocean Week Brunei 2026.

On 20 and 25 June, Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) proudly organized our annual Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with @bloodbank_ripas and @mcdonaldsbrunei , marking the 9th year of this meaningful partnership.

On 30 May 2026, BGC once again partnered with the Takmir Committee Members of Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, with support from the Jerudong A & B Village Consultative Council, to organise a Korban Ceremony at Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Jerudong in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha 1447H/2026M.

The ceremony was graced by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Jaafar Abdul Aziz DPKT SDLJ SMB as Guest of Honour. A total of eight buffaloes were contributed by participants from BGC and the Kampung Jerudong Mosque Committee, with the korban meat distributed to asnaf, underprivileged recipients, and residents across Kampung Jerudong. Pg Nor Hazman Pg Abd Hamid, Fleet Manager, together with members of the management team, joined community leaders in supporting the distribution to BGC’s korban participants.

As we reflect on the spirit of Korban, BGC remains committed to fostering strong partnerships and meaningful community engagement, creating lasting value while strengthening the bonds that unite our communities. This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collective dedication and strong collaboration of all partners involved, together with the contributions of BGC colleagues participating in the korban.

BGC, in collaboration with Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Brunei (Operational Branch ‘F’) successfully conducted a Fire Marshal Training Programme involving participants from BGC, Jerudong Park Medical Centre and KOPAZ Day Care from 11th to 13th May 2026.

Over the 3-day training, participants gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience through fire safety theory, emergency preparedness, and practical simulation exercises to strengthen their fire marshal competencies and improve the readiness of BGC Fire Wardens during emergency situations.
